Launch of ITER project
Beginning of R&D activities on the fusion process, 5 years of research involving key stakeholders to identify technological priorities in the framework of ITER (international nuclear fusion research)
2000
ATMOSTAT
ATMOSTAT integrates ITER, starts exploring various assembly techniques and collaborates with CEA-Liten on a high performance heterogeneous metal assembly method
2003
Diffusion bonding: a solution for the ITER project
Identification of HIP (Hot Isostatic Pressure) technique as a potential key technology for the first wall panels
2014
ITER contracts
ATMOSTAT starts to be awarded contracts for the assembly of some key ITER components through a partnership with Fusion for Energy (F4E)
