KHIMOD’s CEO Nicolas Serrie was invited on French economic TV stationn BFM Business to discuss the company’s mission and the state of the synthetic fuels industry in France and Europe.

In the interview, Nicolas Serrie outlined KHIMOD’s role in accelerating the decarbonization of hard-to-abate sectors — particularly aviation and maritime — through the production of synthetic gases and fuels including low-carbon methane, low-carbon methanol, and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

He also addressed the European regulatory landscape, including mandatory blending targets from 2030 onwards, and shared updates on KHIMOD’s current activities: the imminent launch of its first synthetic kerosene production unit AVEBIO, ongoing developments in continuous flow chemistry, and the critical importance of public sector commitment in building a competitive and sovereign synthetic fuels industry in France.
